1. ENROLLMENT & FINANCIAL TERMS

• Confirmation: Enrollment is only finalized once the full tuition fee has been received and cleared in the Academy’s official account.
• Fee Structure: Tuition fees cover instruction and the use of basic Academy materials. Special events, external exams, or personal equipment (e.g., specific ballet attire or personal laptops) are excluded unless otherwise stated.
• Late Payment: Patya Expressions reserves the right to suspend a student’s participation if fees remain outstanding after the term commencement date.

2. REFUND, CANCELLATION, AND CREDITS

• Strict Non-Refund Policy: All fees paid are non-refundable. This is because our costs for staffing, facility rental, and equipment are committed based on enrollment numbers.
• Absences: No refunds or pro-rated credits are provided for classes missed due to personal travel, social engagements, or minor illnesses.
• Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, civil unrest, public health mandates, or infrastructure failure), the Academy reserves the right to migrate classes to a virtual platform or provide credit notes for future sessions. Cash refunds will not be issued in these instances.

3. HEALTH, SAFETY, AND MEDICAL CONSENT

• Liability Waiver: While Patya Expressions Academy maintains rigorous safety standards and supervision, parents/guardians agree that the Academy, its owners, and staff shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property sustained on the premises.
• Emergency Medical Authorisation: In a medical emergency, the Academy will attempt to contact parents immediately. If parents are unreachable, the Academy is authorized to transport the child to the nearest accredited medical facility and seek necessary treatment. The parent/guardian agrees to bear all associated medical costs.
• Physical Readiness: It is the parent's responsibility to ensure the child is physically fit to participate in activities like Ballet or Music.

4. EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY STEWARDSHIP

• Care of Property: Students are expected to handle laptops, musical instruments, chess sets, and studio equipment with care.
• Damage Liability: While we allow for "fair wear and tear," parents/guardians may be held financially responsible for the repair or replacement of any property damaged through a student's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

5. SECURITY, ARRIVAL, AND DEPARTURE

• Punctuality: To ensure a smooth learning experience, students should arrive 10 minutes before class starts.
• Late Pick-up Policy: Our facility closes promptly. A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed. Thereafter, a convenience fee of N2,000 per 15-minute increment will be charged to the parent’s account to compensate for overtime staff supervision.
• Authorised Release: Students will only be released to parents or individuals listed as "Authorized Pick-up" on the registration form. Any "last-minute" changes require a WhatsApp confirmation from the registered parent including the "Safety Keyword."

6. MEDIA CONSENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• Show & Tell Media: Parents grant Patya Expressions the right to use photographs and video recordings of students for internal progress reporting and external promotional marketing. We commit to protecting student privacy by never publishing full names.
• Proprietary Materials: All curriculum designs, project worksheets, and teaching methodologies are the intellectual property of Patya Expressions Academy. Reproduction or commercial redistribution of these materials is strictly prohibited.

7. CODE OF CONDUCT AND TERMINATION

• Behavioral Standard: We foster a community of kindness. Bullying, physical aggression, or persistent disruption of the learning environment is not tolerated.
• Right to Terminate: Patya Expressions reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment without a refund if their behavior (or the behavior of their parent/guardian) is deemed harmful to the Academy’s staff or students.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All curriculum materials, project guides, and proprietary teaching methods provided to the student are the intellectual property of Patya Expressions Academy. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of these materials by parents or third parties without written consent is strictly prohibited.
